Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. If you want to get involved, meet new people, learn new skills or rediscover old ones and can answer YES to any of the above questions then volunteering  with VoxFemme might be for you...READ ON!



Volunteer Training Programme

VoxFemme relies almost entirely on the commitment and dedication of volunteers who offer their time and expertise to support our services and the women and girls we engage with.

 

We offer volunteers an induction and training programme. Our in-house training programme runs three times a year and covers areas including; an Introduction to VoxFemme, professionalism, boundaries and confidentiality, Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, Listening Skills. We also support and encourage  volunteers in accessing  additional training in the community, which has previously included; first aid, suicide prevention, human rights and mental health and LGBTQ awareness.

Teaching and Training
Drop-in support
 ITC and Website support

Marketing
Crafts
Business
Planning
Fundraising
Newsletter

No previous experience is necessary, and we provide friendly and supportive training to make sure you get the best of your time whilst volunteering with us.

We ask that women who choose to volunteer to:

Commit to a minimum of 6 months
Take part in our training 
Attend volunteer meetings
Attend support sessions
